Empowering Women in Ruaha Village: Income Generation Training by Imara Trust Fund
At Imara Trust Fund, we believe that empowering women is key to building stronger communities. Recently, we conducted a special training program aimed at helping women in Ruaha Village increase their income generation and improve their financial independence.
The workshop brought together a group of passionate women eager to learn new skills and strategies to support their families and contribute to their community’s growth.
What Was Covered in the Training?
The training focused on several key areas of income generation:
Entrepreneurship and Business Skills
The women were introduced to basic business principles, including budgeting, marketing, and how to manage resources effectively. They learned how to start small businesses and grow them into sustainable sources of income.Vocational Skills Development

The Impact of the Training
The response from the women who attended the training has been overwhelmingly positive. Many of them have already started applying the knowledge gained to improve their small businesses. Whether it’s selling handmade products or starting a small food business, the women are now equipped with the skills and confidence to boost their income.
One of the participants, Fatuma, shared, “Before the training, I didn’t know how to manage my small business properly. Now, I understand how to budget, save, and market my products. I’m already seeing better sales, and I’m able to support my children’s education more than before.”
